The Gallery

The Gallery is situated on the corner of Mathew Street and is part of the Hard Days Night Hotel. It offers a wide range of original and reproduction artwork that features in the Hotel along with a range of merchandise featuring the unique hotel logo.

Artwork includes specially commissioned work by Shannon who is widely regarded as the "Greatest Beatles Artist in the World".

Also featuring is a range of photographs by Bill Zygmant. These prints include some iconic shots of the Beatles and also other famous artists of the 1960's.

The Gallery has launched "The Concert Range" by David Stratford. These prints have never been released before and include artists such as The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Elton John and George Harrison all live on stage.

 

Amongst others the Gallery offers work by local artist "Grant Searl" who has produced a piece specially for the Gallery called Liverpool Surrealist Dreamers L.S.D. We also have work by the widely commissioned portrait painter Stanley Kerr, who has created stunningly realist paintings of John Lennon and Bob Dylan.

 

We are also proud to have the work of Ron Campbell, the artist who animated many scenes for The Yellow Submarine feature film and directed episodes of The Beatles animated series. Ron honoured us with a 3 day signing over the Mathew Street Festival and left us with some original signed paintings based on the Yellow Submarine and Beatles Series animations.

An exclusively designed range of merchandise featuring the unique hotel logo is also available to buy from the Gallery.

The Gallery also operates the first Beatles Information Centre where you can book various beatles tours such as The Magical Mystery Tour, Beatles Story Museum, The Childhood Homes of John and Paul and The Casbah Coffee Club.
